DMC World DJ Championship 2008 Results
I’m off out in a minute to soak up some weekend sunshine, so this is just a brief post about yesterday’s scratch trickery…
Last night the DMC World DJ Championship was decided. The event is now in its 24th year, and contestants from around the globe competed using two Technics SL1210 Mk2s and a mixer - no effects allowed. The winner’s prize is a set of coveted Technics Golden Turntables and Mixer, Ortofon Gold/Diamond Tipped Stylus and 10,000 USD.
This year’s event was held in London’s 02 arena, and was won by DJ Fly from France, with the USA’s Slyce second and CO-MA from Japan in third.
